Your Summer in a B&b
A nice little trip down to the coast is becoming more and more popular to Britons as they face colder vacations this summer. With the credit crunch hitting all our pockets hard we will struggle to find hundreds of pounds to travel abroad next summer. This can mean a few things; we can borrow money to travel, not travel or make the most of the British seaside.
British destinations such as Brighton or Cornwall are likely to be flooded with British holiday makers this summer replicating scenes from the early 20th century of overcrowded beaches. The increase will be a great sign for the British economy.
Of course, if you plan to make the most of your British holiday this year you are best booking months in advance to take advantage of cheaper prices. By planning your vacation early you will make it less likely for any unwanted surprises when you arrive.
Bed and breakfasts are the more preferred option when travelling to the coast as they provide a warm bed with a tasty breakfast in the morning. Many prefer this to a cold night in the middle of a field with a box of cereal or barbecued sausages for breakfast.
To make the most of your holiday budget you should also try taking your own food and drink as this will be more expensive in the tourist areas.
So instead of sitting in this summer try visiting the traditional sea sides of Britain or maybe even try a spot of camping or caravanning.
